Perspectives International, Inc. is a family-owned corporation located in Miami, Florida and was founded in 1990.
Our main focus is on the sale of ophthalmic and optical equipment and supplies. The majority of our clients are ophthalmologists, optical stores, hospitals and clinics. When needed, we support the sale of these products with clinical training & technical service to our clients.
Several years ago we realized that a one stop shop concept was exactly what was needed for the Central American and Caribbean markets, so we began the task of expanding our product lines. Most of the suppliers were thrilled to find someone who could provide potential clients with a high level of service in their low volume markets. Limitations on their human and financial resources prevented them from providing the level of service these markets deserved as compared to what they offered in Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, etc. We now represent over 50 suppliers and manufacturers of ophthalmic and optical goods and products.
This concept worked so well for the clients in these markets that word of mouth soon had clients throughout the region embracing the concept because of the substantial savings in shipping costs, consolidation of orders through one source, administrative time savings etc. One supply source, one call, one shipment, one payment was just what the doctor ordered.
As we have expanded our technical and clinical support, we have placed a major emphasis on state of the art technology such as optical lasers and diagnostic imaging equipment which require users to be trained by one of our clinical trainers. We have staff technicians who provide on-site installation and in service for most of the Ophthalmic and Optical Equipment we sell.
We have recently started to develop US domestic sales. We do have some limitations and restrictions on the sale in the US of some of the products that we distribute.
Three years ago we created a new division to sell and distribute aesthetic, surgical, and dental lasers. This division is autonomous and managed by our commercial director.
